Ok...time to brag...Found out tonight that Baseball Boy(tm) has been named as the RED RIVER ATHLETIC CONFERENCE First Team All-Conference First Baseman. Now I gotta top that by getting Academic All-American..lol...But I'm proud of him. He deserves it!! Ok...done bragging...night!

I can haz new camera??? YES I CAN!! I have a Canon 40D headed my way. I can't wait to get my hands on it. I can't wait to see how my pictures will turn out!!! I'm so excited..lol. Good thing my left eye is the good eye and my shooting eye. My right eye is there....I'm ready for the swelling of the eye to go down and not look so scary...lol..the bruising around my eye is going away slowly. Hopefully my eye will be looking more normal by Valentine's Day since I actually have a date for it. It just wouldn't be a good looking thing to go out to dinner with my boyfriend and it look like he's popped me in the face. That'd be a fun one explaining to my deputy buddies who didn't know about my surgery, cause knowin them, he'd be cuffed and put in the back of the cruiser...lol...But it pays to have friends in places like that.

Other than that...things seem to be going good eye wise..fingers crossed and knocking on wood. I'm gonna go crash here in a little bit after I find something good to watch and fall asleep to.

Well I survived my 21st and didn't wake up with a hang over. I decided to not go to the bar last night...I'll probably go tonight. I had 3 drinks last night. One was a margarita mini that came from a pack of 4 that I bought at he liquor store, the second one was a frozen strawberry margarita at Chili's and then the third was one that Sarah and Jo had ordered but didn't like it, which was a tropical margarita on the rocks...it was good. Jo had a cake made for me. It was really cute. I'll have a pic of it up sooner or later. It feels good to be able to have a drink at dinner out in public...at home...who cares...at a friends...who cares...I'm driving any where..lol..

Monday, I had already decided what I'm wearing to the funeral tomorrow. I'm wearing black dress pants, my gray v-neck sweater and my new boots...I've already cleaned them once...I'll probably have to clean them tonight after I get back from the rodeo arena (thats were I've been hanging out because watching them practice takes my mind off of things so). But I was told yesterday by one of the guys on the rodeo team that if he had known it was my birthday while I was out at the arena, he would have thrown me into the dirt..but then he told me I'd be getting thrown into the water trough today...even if he has to put water in it...lol...but then I'm still missing 6 out of 21 birthday swats....and they were giving them to me with their belts...ouch....at one point i went down to the ground so they couldn't get me anymore...we were all laughing our asses off...it was funny...and then I play dominoes and kicked ass...normally I don't play with the point system but I won!!!!!!!!! Ok...I'm done for now. Thank you all for the birthday wishes!!!!!

I hate stupid f*ing people. The reason why we had gotten the warning on our room for an unsanitary room is because we're not allowed to have stuff 'piled' on the floor or under the desk and the small pieces of trash...Well for one thing...where the hell am I going to stack art stuff that I have out at the desk...where am I supposed to put my bags for class...and umm does this mean i have to buy my own damn vacuum? Because they don't give us one....and I've seen messier rooms than mine and they didn't get a bloody warning...and I hate how stupid my teammates can be...they piss me off...To hell with the stupid people...but YAY for my A in human bio lecture and an A still in the lab class since I got another 100 on the lab quiz today...so far its looking like another 4.0 semester..YAY..which will bring my 3.95 up so....

Ok...I'm hungry...I'm going to get food...

Holy hell...what bit my ass? When I went to put some stuff up tonight...I couldn't stop..I went through and tossed paper junk that I didn't need anymore and ended up picking the room up and nicely put some financial stuff belonging to the roomie in her draw that ended up with my stuff. I even ever so nicely put her shoes that were in my way in front of her dresser instead of in front of my frig and my cubbie area that she gave me. Now if she comes in and bitches that I need to pick my shit up..she can eat her own words..I don't feel like getting fined for 'an unsanitary room' and housing has already gone through this past week and there were my books on the for and a pair of shoes..but then she had stuff thrown all over the place. The only thing I will have to put up tomorrow night are the clean clothes. I even have some desk space so I can step up on to it so I can get up to the top bunk.
Granted I do have a lot of stuff...but geez I can't help that I do research so thats why I have so many books...plus I'm an art major so there's more stuff there for me to do my art...and also..this is my third year of college...I know what is needed. Oh and if she gets pissy with me about not picking stuff up...I'll bring up the fact that I had to ask her to help me take the trash out on Friday when I was leaving. God save me from those who lack common sense. Ok...I really need to get to bed...its almost 2:20 am here and I've gotta be up at 8:15 to get ready for tutoring at 9 am. Oh Happy Day!

Don't worry...I'm still alive...Just been busy. I have in just one day..sold $90 worth of digital art and will be getting paid another good chunk once I get another set put together..all to American Legion Auxiliary ladies. I hoping to be able to attend Mid-Winter Conference and possibly sell more but it all depends on my track schedule in January. So I need to get some business cards printed up. Oh Mom!!!!!!!! lol

Just at school and stuck behind firewalls. But other than being stuck behind firewalls...everything is good minus the roomie...who is very very foul mouthed..more than me..by like 20X. Even my 2 new chick teammates have over heard her and were appalled...ask mom for full story if you want it. But my 2 new chick teammates are cool. They're twins and are from Deleware and are nursing students so. If I need help with human bio...they'll be the ones I go to. Also, the last female member of the team got her tonight so I'll get to meet her tomorrow.

The heat has been awful and is doing a number on my breathing even with the asthma meds. I'm gonna try and run a little in the morning before I go finish with financial aid and get my work study paper work taken care of. The professor I'm doing my work study for has held that position for me and I'll be working on the school's website working with the photos and something else...I can't remember...but he's also going to let me work on the track team's page so I can add photos and bio info. So yeah...woo go me.

My eye is giving me issues. Its still swollen from the Glaucoma specialist's appointment but not as bad pre say but its also got really blood shot during practice so. I just hop that maybe this is my eye's way of dealing with the pressure...so who knows. I'll ask my doc when I see him on Sept. 12. But if it gets worse...I'll be calling to go in earlier if need be.

Also, my classes seem to be easy..considering I have 4 art classes...and 2 of them are with 1 professor. But I'm sad...that professor is going to be going to Santa Fe to the BIG Indian art market to hopefully sell some of her paintings and she leaves Wednesday...I just wish she would take me with her...lol...APPRENTICESHIP...well sorta...

At least my roomie is gone for know...who knows what time she'll come waltzing in like 2 nights ago when she came in at 3 or 4 in the morning so. But I'm gonna try and get to sleep now before my sleep gets interrupted by a rude and ignorant roomie.

Wondering where the summer went....

It is hard to believe that this is my last weekend at home. I'll be back at school completing my associates and competing in my last year of collegiate athletics. I'll be stuck behind stupid firewalls once again and without the wonderful muck... :( It'll get hard getting used to not chatting on much whenever I can with all of the wonderful people on there. Those on there will just have to watch their in-boxes and my website for updates. But I keep thinking to myself that this time next year, I'll still be in the metro and not having to deal with stupid firewalls at school. Though I can't wait to see my friends that I go to school, I will miss those here at home. Some friendships have lessened to what seems like acquaintances and others have gotten stronger again after seeming to fall apart. But that is all a part in life as well as growing up. Another big milestone headed my way is my 21st birthday (scary for mom and dad). Yes I know...its hard to believe I'm getting older. It seemed like just a few months ago I had my transplant and a few months before that my wreck, but nope...It'll be 2 years for the wreck at the end of October and a year for my transplant on Oklahoma's 100th birthday of all days. Now I can say I can never forget when I had my transplant...lol...

To my friends and fam....I love you all and I know I don't say it enough so I'm going to say it again... Love you all tons and tons!

Ok...so I have officially had my MacBook for a full day and I'm loving it. Its just hard trying to get used to it being a mac and not a pc (boo hiss hiss). I'm still in amazement about how quick it starts up and everything...the sound, video...everything is amazing! but yeah..i just wanted to share that with ya'll!

Well some what...I am so busy at work and I do so much...I'm dead ass tired when I get home...and I'm only working 32 hours a week...thats it...but then some of the stuff I do at work is really demanding...like finding document boxes and putting their U.P. codes on them and then putting them all into numerical order (which the later was done in like 2 hours but the U.P.'s have been on going since last week). Tomorrow we are supposed to move cubic foot boxes to the warehouse...but bc of rain...we'll be in the office again...but its all cool. I've been doing a lot of computer work too...from changing file names, to importing photos and writing the captions so they can go onto the website, to creating 787 'containers' for document images that will be imported at a later date. That 787 was for only one tribe...thats how many boxes there are for them...I'm afraid to know how many there are for the Dawes Commission....

Plus me and the truck just aren't getting along these days...Friday...a wonderful screw in the back right tire, Sunday, the light for my speedometer went out at night, and today the battery died mysteriously and found out that it may be because of a bad door sensor...I give up on vehicles..we just don't get a long...and plus a damn bimmer tried to hit me as I was leaving the parking lot at work to go get my battery looked at...what is this world coming to these days.

So this past week has been long..and another one is about to start. OH JOYS...not. The track meet went good except for the fact that my laptop wanted to kind of fall apart. Sounds kind of like me. At least for me to recharge my batteries, I just have to sleep or drink an energy drink. But no...the post broke off and is in the power cord. Though I did get to talk to Dusty and Stacie before I had to get off of it due to low battery power. I still haven't heard from that hosting site...hmmm who knows. But yeah I got burned to a crisp on the face..and YES I was wearing sunscreen. No matter what, I always, always burn in Texas, even with sunscreen. I do though need to find out when I can start tanning again (yes I know, cancer in a light box) sine I am in major need of a base tan, which allows me to not burn so much, except for the face, especially my wonderful Rudolph the red nose reindeer nose that I get when I burn.

Other than that, nothing much is going on. I'm just glad that mom has LAZ! Thanks again Dusty for all of your help and putting up with me and my tech issues. I know you do what you can and I truly appreciate it. And I promise I'm taking good care of LAZ. LAZ is saving me for a day or two. I'm just glad that this little laptop issue wasn't in like a few weeks when my Am. Civ. paper is due. If it did, I would be s.o.l. and up the bloody creek without that much needed paddle.

Okay..I'm gonna try and get back to sleep.

And tanx mom for the new snuggly!!!! I LOVE IT! And I've gotten compliments on it already!!

So today is my first collegiate track meet...I thought I was nervous playing in my first game for Bacone my freshman year...even though that game wasn't my first at the collegiate level.. I played in Holland just before my first semester of college started and played in a college tournament for my spring break of my senior year....

But I'm nervous because I haven't competed in God knows how long in the field events...plus track is one part team but then 4 parts individual. Plus I kind of feel like I have a lot riding on my shoulders because I'm the ONLY girl on the team...We'll see how I do...Hopefully the flow of things won't be so chaotic like they were in middle school...those meets were just a mess and basically stress, stress, and more stress...

Plus I'm aggravated. I woke up at 5:30 and couldn't get back to sleep. So that's why I'm on here and updating my iPod with more songs..I figured out how to do it through iTunes! I will share how I did later. I loved being able to sleep during the night now....since I got moved to work the weekends at the front desk...long story behind that. But as soon as I got to my room last night...I crashed after dinner...I was out like a light bulb..plus in a little bit...I have to call mom so she can grab my rosin bag out of my softball bag in the garage....

Well wish me luck...I won't be back for a good while..maybe I can steal LAZ from mom maybe..lol..I won't be that mean..lol..I'll just take my HitchHiker's Guide to the Galaxy book that I got earlier this week.
